This weekend intensive/masterclass in contemporary theatre is intended for everyone involved in performing arts and those interested in contemporary theatre (performers, actors, directors, dancers, writers…) as well as anyone personally interested in going through such a program because they are curious about the stage, the body, energy, and the creative act — regardless of what they do professionally or whether they have any previous stage experience.
The program is fun and exciting, but also physically and creatively demanding. Motivation, a desire for artistic exploration, and focus are key criteria.

Block 1 (10:30 – 12:00)
FOUNDATIONS OF PHYSICAL, PROCESS-BASED, AND ENERGETIC THEATRE
Foundations of the physical, process-based (devising), and energetic theatre that I practice (the difference between the biographical and the artistic; elements of body awareness and how the body communicates on stage; the energetic layer of a scene — between theatre and performance; the relationship between form and essence in order for Beauty, Soul, and stage magic to emerge)
Body warm-up and the playful performer — training instinct and setting the field
Who am I now — what does the Soul want to sing about?
